The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office serves more than 825,000 citizens and other regional counties by providing quality forensic death investigation services. Our team consists of an elected Coroner, board certified forensic pathologists, death investigators as well as many other essential support staff. We are accredited by the National Association of Medical Examiners which is the premier professional organization for medical examiners, forensic pathologists, and medicolegal affiliates and administrators. Many of our death investigators are certified nationally by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.

The mission of the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office is to serve the public by providing accurate, thorough and efficient medico legal investigations of death, thereby ensuring justice, and providing solace, comfort and protection to the living. We shall provide excellence in public service through our uncompromising belief in respect for life and dignity in death.
